Set up and run entirely by young people in the Borough, the Borough Youth Council was launched in Spring 2004. 'Youth of Basingstoke and Deane' is looking to challenge the perception that 'all young people are yobs'. and supported by the Corporate Youth Officer, the group aims to give young people a voice by listening, discussing and acting upon their views.
