V - Inspiring a million more young volunteers

V is an independent charity launched to champion youth volunteering in England. Their aim is to inspire a million more 16–25 year olds to volunteer and enable a lasting change in the quality, quantity and diversity of youth volunteering.

So what does that mean? It means more young people on community radio, more young people improving the environment, more young people running sports clubs, more young people taking part in international projects – basically more young people giving their time and talents to improve their communities.

To help achieve this goal, they’ll be following the recommendations of the Russell Commission (a Government study into youth action and engagement).
