Register to vote.  Why bother?

There are a number of reasons why registering to vote is a good idea.

1. You are not entitled to vote in local or national elections.

2. You may be refused credit (for example in order to buy a car, a new mobile phone, or opening up a new bank account.

3. You can be fined up to £1,000.
