Stay Active - Stay Alive!!

Participation in regular moderate physical activity is now widely recognised as a major component of health promotion and disease prevention.

The Health Education Authority recommend that:

  • All young people should participate in one hour per day of moderate physical activity
  • Young people who currently do little activity should participate in physical activity of at least moderate intensity for at least half an hour per day.
